Carr Greens deodorant extracts the best properties from natural ingredients to effectively reduce body odour while being kind to skin, animals and the environment.
What Are Our Natural Deodorants?
As you'd expect on the farm, we're pretty keen on keeping things natural. Carr Greens deodorants are derived from naturally occurring ingredients that won't clog, mask, burn or sting.
We don't use aluminium salts (found in most anti-perspirants) as these clog pores, mess with your hormones and have been linked to serious health problems.
Our deodorants are even gentle on freshly-mown pits. They don't contain alcohol, which can dry out skin and cause irritation, and you won't find any nasty parabens or other artificial preservatives.
You can give smelly the welly too, because we've added a small amount of sodium bicarbonate to prevent the growth of bacteria that causes body odour.
How Does It Work?
Carr Greens is made from a base of coconut oil, beeswax and shea butter - this carries the active ingredients and scents (essential oils). The active ingredient is the sodium bicarbonate (from soda ash) this nature identical ingredient prevents the growth of the bacteria that causes the smell of sweat. Zinc ricinolate (from castor beans) is an odour absorbing agent to help further keep everything smell free.
For the scented versions, the essential oils give the deodorant its smell and can last all day to give you a charming fragrance. Additionally tea tree has anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties. Vitamin E (Tocopherol) from vegetable oil is an anti-oxidant which helps to protect your body from free-radicals
